Village of Ossining Can Move Forward with Opportunity

Right now the Village Board has an opportunity to move forward with the next step towards turning the bank building with the clock into an a attractive wine bar. I for one am all for something happening in a building that is central to our Main Street. Especially since the proposal put before us does NOT need financing. Of course, as with anything else, the Boards due dillegence is necessary; however moving forward is also necessary. It's my belief that if this proposition is successful others will follow, restaurant's will open, new stores may move into the area. I don't pretend to know it all, but I do know I am successfully running a business on Main Street. It took a combination of stategies; a business and marketing plan and most importantly a whole village supporting it, for which I am thankful. It proves what I have always thought, our residents will rally around our businesses. They want innovative choices to support. LizzFitness in only one year in business won Best in Westchester.  I believe Ossining can win Best in Westchester. We should take the next step with this proposal and thank Trustee Donnelly for working so hard to convince business people to take a hard look at our village.
