Croton Traffic Advisory: Overnight Repaving on Route 9

A message from the NYSDOT:

Motorists are advised that effective tonight, the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) will be implementing various lane and ramp closures on US Route 9 between Welcher and Croton Point Avenues until approximately November 1st during the hours of 8pm and 6am, Sundays through Fridays for paving activities.

Motorists are asked to use caution when traveling through the work area and pay particular attention to all traffic control devices, including work zone signs and flaggers.

Travelers are also reminded that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone.
In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of the driver’s license.
