Students Brutally Beaten in Ossining

Ossining Police are trying to track down the individuals who are responsible for leaving three Sleepy Hollow Students bloodied and bruised.

Investigators are asking for your help in identifying the people who left three Sleepy Hollow students bloodied and bruised. The three, who were wearing Sleepy Hollow football jerseys, were waiting for their parents on South Highland Avenue, near Cedar Place around 9:50 p.m.

The three victims say that they were walking down Highland Avenue when they were attacked and battered by a group of 15 to 20 Ossining students. All three were beaten so badly that they had to be taken to Phelps Memorial Hospital. One of the students had to remain in the hospital overnight for observation. That individual was finally released from the hospital on Saturday. The other two victims were treated and released that night.

Police investigating the Friday night incident say that the three Sleepy Hollow students who were beaten were junior varsity players who had been at the Ossining-Sleepy Hollow game.

Ossining Police are asking anyone who may have seen the incident to call their detective division at 914-941-4099.
