Croton Police: Hazards on Route 9; Mailboxes Down

Hazards on Route 9

There were several hazardous conditions reported on Route 9 on July 5 to Croton Police.

At 11 a.m. a truck tire in the roadway northbound between Croton Point Avenue and Municipal Place was causing traffic trouble. County police were on the scene to help clear the tire. 

That night at 10:20 p.m., a tree limb was reportedly obstructing the roadway on the southbound exit ramp of Senesqua Road. County police were also on the scene. 


Two Mailboxes Knocked Down

Police responded to a report of criminal mischief at two addresses on Upper North Highland Avenue from residents who found their mailboxes knowcked down on the morning of July 6.
