New to Ossining: Keenan House Kitchen and Tap

Introducing a new “New American” eatery in Ossining.

Steve and Jessica Vescio are the owners of The Keenan House Kitchen and Tap Room which opened at the beginning of April on 199 Main Street.

The restaurant features approachable fare and a beer-centric drink list with 90-plus beers, mostly from craft breweries. There’s a local slant, with many items from the Hudson Valley region.

The food is fresh, the décor is warm and inviting, and there's local artwork adorning the walls, writes guest Belle Watson on their Facebook page:

went to Keenan House Kitchen & Tap Room tonight. Ninety different beers. The food was fresh and very good. The decor, though simple and predominantly grey, is oddly warm and inviting. Love the light fixtures, especially the converted mason jars above the bathroom doors. The artwork that adorns the wall is comprised of photographs, charcoal drawings, and paintings of views of Ossining and other prominent landmarks in the Hudson Valley. The owner and staff were very friendly and genuine in making our experience a great one.

Wednesday from 11:30 am to 10 pm; 
Thursday 11:30 am to 11 pm
; Friday and Saturday, 11:30 am to 1 am;
Sunday, 11:30 am to 9 pm with brunch served 11:30 am to 3 pm. You can get brunch a la carte or $22 prix fixe (includes coffee, tea, mimosa, bloody mary, or select draft). Best yet: Happy Hour specials have started, featuring $5 select pints and half price apps on weekdays from 3:30 pm to 6 pm.
