Rachel Alexander, Neighbor

I am an Ossining resident and a violin/viola teacher who will be opening a home music studio this summer. I believe that with a strong work ethic, anything can be accomplished within and outside the classroom. Accompanying this dedication is my sense of excitement for music. As a professional musician, I would love to share my passion for music and the arts with my students. Having the ability to expose students to diverse styles of music and likewise, educate them on the colorful lives behind this great art form would be a wonderful opportunity. Knowledge, enthusiasm and professionalism strongly inform my teaching at every level.

It is my aspiration to make the world of learning music an accessible medium for all students. I hope that I can share my love for the performing arts and education. I look forward to becoming an integral member of the Ossining creative and performing arts community.
