One in the neighbors house, one in the other neighbors yard, and the other two, they haven't a clueRead More where they went........ Why the heck aren't you at a range mom? Cmon now, a little common sense goes a long way here. Take her out in the woods or something.

Looks like a lot of fun. The difference between an arrow and a bullet from a gun is roughly a mileRead More in reach.

Selling drugs is not a a good thing at all. But neither is using them. I think that laws need to beRead More just as strict for the drug users. They are also doing something illegal and harming themselves and their families. I truly believe drug addicts are a bigger issue and do more damage to families than the dealers. The dealer doesn't usually seek out the druggie, the druggie usually seeks out the the dealer.

That poor woman How can these be monitored better ..as in police giving out tickets.. Alot of peopleRead More dont know or dont care that it is a state law to stop

People are often being hit in crosswalks... When I stop for pedestrians, people try to go around meRead More or lay on the horn
Judith Martin-Becker May 13, 2013 at 03:19 pm
how does someone get released after using a knife and rifle in an assault. Someone has got to getRead More better and rewriting some of the laws in our Country. Making deals and letting people out to commit their next atrocity is not what freedom is all about.

nancy...All the methadone, counseling, treatment programs, or intervention available won't be enoughRead More to stop an addict who is not ready to stop. As sad as it sounds, sometimes the addict must hit bottom (in most cases), before they can develop a desire to want to fight for themselves, or surrender to their demons, and ask for help. Sitting home in a comfortable house, with a refrigerator full of food, and a dog named Fido...just doesn't sound like bottom to me? Each addict, has their own unique way of thinking and feeling. Alot of times people make the mistake in assuming "Their all alike". so untrue. The reality is that not nearly as many recover from addiction, as those that remain set in their ways, and resist help at every intersection. The best advise I can give, is for the Family member(s) whom are directly affected, 'you should get help and perhaps the addict will follow your lead'? At least the addict doesn't take evryone down with them...Because the addict left untreated, unresponsive to treatment, will take all hostages!

Wow, this is really too bad. I grew up in Ossining, and while it was always known for its drug-usingRead More population, I don't remember there being a problem like this. Here's hoping it can be addressed realistically and the people affected given the treatment they need.

Kids are certainly at fault, but what about the parents who raised them. If this had happened inRead More their home towns, someone would have squashed it to spare the kids from having a record... and we wonder why they go off to do it again, only this time it is usually more serious and no one there to cover their rear end.

When my daughter was at Umass and renting an apt, some little jerks vandalized it, stole everything,Read More booze bottles, garbage, all over and messed the mattresses. How sad that kids think its ok to do this.
Society Girl April 10, 2013 at 11:44 pm
What is wrong with them? Are they a bunch of animals? I pray my daughter never acts this way.
