Your words are touching and deeply appreciated, Bob. That was the Mildred E. Strang Middle SchoolRead More graduation in 2001; Harrison was chosen by faculty as a commencement speaker. A line in his remarks now serves as the motto of the Harrison Apar Field of Dreams Foundation: "Dreams do not come easily, but if you stretch enough, nothing is out of reach." It always will have special resonance, coming from a 13-year-old born with dwarfism.

I was on the School Board when Harrison gave his speech at the Moving Up Ceremony. I was sittingRead More directly behind him. While I could not see his face, I could hear his voice and see people's reaction to what he was saying. I was amazed at the not only at his stage presence, but the clarity of his words and thoughts. Had he lived, he would have been capable of some extraordinary things.

Geez Sharan, from someone who panics when her Carmel Macchiato doesn't have enough creme. I takeRead More what you say with all of your experience in life or death situations as gospel. The real tragedy is this criminal being on the street. My condolences go out to the victim and her family and to the poor police officer and his family. Oh and Sharan let me know your plan for peace in the Middle East because we can implement it and have that whole mess wrapped up by Memorial Day.

How many more people have to die before New York states liberal justice system stops allowing careerRead More criminals parole?!!! For the ignorant who said why would the cop shoot if he had the girl in a headlock. Well how about you stand there and do nothing when the guy has a gun pointed at you. This isn't the movies, the bad guy doesn't die immediately after being shot once. Wake up sheep! Recommend
