Teatown Lake Reservation is a nonprofit, environmental organization situated on a 875-acre nature preserve. The organization also features an education center. It is dedicated to educate the community on the importance of environmentalism and preservation, and to increase community involvement. It is the largest nonprofit nature center in Westchester County. It offers tours of Wildflower Island, many trails to hike and explore, and a 2-acre island sanctuary home to many native and endangered wildflower species. The organization's carriage house is available for party rentals. Admission to the reservation is free.
