Wednesday, Jan. 1

_Join in attending the inauguration of Ossining Village and Town officials today at noon at the Joseph G. Caputo Community Center. Being inaugurated are: Trustees Robert Daraio and Manuel Quezada, County Legislator Catherine Borgia, Town Supervisor Susanne Donnelly, Town Council Members Kim Jeffrey and Northern Wilcher, Town Justice Nancy Koba, Town Highway Superintendent Michael G. O’Connor, and Town Tax Receiver Gloria Fried.

_Legislator Catherine Borgia (D-Ossining) will be the next Majority Leader for the 2013-2014 legislative session, announces the Democratic caucus of the Westchester County Board of Legislators. She will begin her role at the next regular meeting on Jan. 6. “I am grateful for the support of my colleagues in the Democratic caucus, and look forward to working with the full Board to best serve all of the people of Westchester,” said Borgia. “Important values like job creation, smart spending and protecting our environment should guide this Board’s decision-making in the upcoming session.”
