Ossining Santa Day a Huge Success

2011's Ossining Santa Day was a huge success. 606 children received a new presents.

Volunteers from organizations suchs as AmeriCorps, , and many others pitched in to make the event a reality. The volunteers helped with everything from carting toys over, to set up, assisting Santa, moving strollers, manning gift stations, photographing the children, and helping get Open Door back in order at the end of the day.

There are still three more Santa days to go...

Open Door Santa Days: All are from 3:00pm - 5:00pm

Mt. Kisco:         Tuesday,    December 13
Port Chester:    Friday,       December 16
Sleepy Hollow:  Thursday,  December 22

Santa and his helpers will give a new gift to children ages infant to 14-years-old.

*       Children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.
*       Limit is one gift per child.
*       Child must be present to receive a gift.
*       All recipients must be on line by 5:00pm.
