Ossining Area Volunteers Needed

Ossining is the volunteer spirited town. So when Community Helping Hands of Ossining and Briarcliff puts out the word for help, they know they're sure hear from a number of us who want to pitch in. Here's the information on what Community Helping Hands is looking for:

Community Helping Hands of Ossining and Briarcliff will launch its service program in early May and is now recruiting volunteers to assist seniors who want to remain at home as they age.  

Service offerings include:  friendly visitors; friendly phone calls; assistance running errands and getting to local medical appointments; etc.  Orientation and training will be provided.

We also welcome volunteers who want to work on administrative tasks now needed at Community Helping Hands. Whether you have an hour to spare or can devote more time, we have an opportunity for you! For more information call 914-346-7773 or email them at: communityhelpinghandsossining@gmail.com.
