Clearwater Festival This Weekend

Clearwater Festival Director Steve Lurie has a preview of what's to come this weekend.

The Clearwater Festival is finally here this weekend.  The forecast looks spectacular. Come for the music.  Come celebrate the Hudson River.  Come with the family.  Come to take a ride on a small boat or tall ship.  Bring an instrument and jam in our Jam Tent.  The important thing is to come and support Clearwater while enjoying a great weekend of music, mission and fun in a beautiful setting.

You can still purchase "Advance Period" tickets through Friday at midnight at ClearwaterFestival.org or by calling 845-236-5596.  On Saturday and Sunday, tickets will only be available at the Box Office at the Festival.  Don't forget that kids 12 & under get in for free!

Clearwater Members receive a 20% discount! If you're not a member, and would like to join or renew your membership, please do so by clicking  clicking here.

In addition to our incredible headline talent (Ani DiFrano, Bela Fleck, Martin Sexton, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Dawes, Arlo Guthie and many more) we're also excited to announce that Raffi, one of the world's best known children's music performers will join and unprecedented line-up of Family Stage artists including: Peter Yarrow, Tom Chapin, David Amram, Guy Davis, Sarah Lee Guthrie & Johnny Irion, Elizabeth Mitchell and others. And the best part is, kids 12 & under get in for free!

Pete Seeger is planning on being at the festival both days this year! Pete has signed a limited amount of copies of his classic book, Where Have All The Flowers Gone, and is generously donating the proceeds to Clearwater.  These books will be available for purchase at the Clearwater Store at the festival while supplies last.

VERY IMPORTANT TRAVEL INFORMATION:

Save the environment and save time! Take mass transportation to the Festival!

The Croton Harmon Train Station (Metro North stop) is located next to the entrance to  Croton Point Park. Free shuttle bus service will be available the entire weekend between the train station and the festival entrance. More shuttle buses have been added this year!

You can also purchase THE CLEARWATER METRO NORTH PACKAGE. Includes a discounted Festival pass and rail fare and is now available from any Metro-North ticket office or full-service ticket vending machine. Click here for the package details.

We're opening Gates at 9:00AM, an hour earlier than previous years. If you drive, please leave early, as there will be heavy traffic.  As much as we love having the festival at Croton Point Park, there is only one lane in and one lane out. Please be patient.
