'A Bronx Tale' Actor to Host Miss Festa Italiana Competition

Louis Vanaria played the role of "Crazy Mario" in "A Bronx Tale," among other roles on popular television shows and in movies.

The Festa Italiana Peekskill Planning Committee is pleased to announce the Master of Ceremony for the   Louis Vanaria star of TV and motion picture movies such as "A Bronx Tale," "Don’t Say a Word," "Stiffs," "Kirk," and more will host the pageant.  More information on Mr. Vanaria can be found at www.louisvanaria.com. 

This year, the Planning Committee will be crowning their first Italian Festival Queen at the Miss Festa Italiana Peekskill Competition.  Deadline for the pageant is August 8, 2012.  The pageant is being sponsored by the White Plains Linen Company.  The pageant will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at 10:30 am at the B.P.O.E. The Festa Italiana Peekskill a nonprofit 501(c) 3 company established for the purpose of celebrating the Feast of the Assumption runs this festival annually.  It is Westchester’s largest Street Festival.  Last year it pulled in over 20,000 people.  Proceeds benefit Assumption School and local area charities.
