Heat Advisory Continues Tuesday; Cooling Centers in Ossining, Croton

With a heat advisory extended to 8 p.m. Tuesday and temperatures expected to reach a high of 93 degrees in Ossining and Croton, the Village and Town are offering their buildings as cooling centers.

Residents can escape the hot weather at the following locations: 

Croton-on-Hudson – The Community Room is open at village hall, at 1 Van Wyck St,. as a cooling center. Click here for more information.

Ossining – The visitor’s center and music room at the Joseph G. Caputo Community Center, at 95 Broadway, will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. 

The cooling centers aren't staffed so residents should bring what they need to be comfortable.
