Happening Today in Ossining & Croton

Ossining's Board of Trustees, Croton's Planning Board, Ossining Summerfest and Croton's Lions Club are all making news this morning.

The Village of Ossining's will meet at 7:30 p.m. tonight. The trustees will discuss village finances and their special event policy. After the public portion of the meeting, the trustees will go into executive session and discuss personnel and real estate issues.

The Village of Croton-on-Hudson's Planning Board will meet tonight. Items on the agenda include plans for a home to be built on Irving Avenue and modifications to a home on Arrowcrest Drive. Click on the PDF file to the right of this story for more information.

Don't forget to mark your calendar for Ossining's SummerFest. The festival will happen on Friday from 4-10 p.m. This is the third year for the festival, which is becoming an Ossining tradition. You can read all about it .

Speaking of traditions, the Croton Council on the Arts and Croton Teen Theatre are marking their 25th season with two new productions.
