3rd Annual Ossining Summerfest Tomorrow

The festival begins on Friday, July 27.

SummerFest returns for the third year in a row to Ossining on Friday, July 27. This popular event, a collaboration effort of The Greater Ossining Chamber of Commerce, Events by Omar, and dozens of local sponsors, supporters and volunteers is an evening dedicated to celebrating community, commerce and the arts in historic downtown Ossining with a variety of events scheduled from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The opening ceremony, scheduled to begin at 6:00 P.M. will kick off with a patriotic salute including the Pledge of Allegiance and the singing of the National Anthem along with short greetings from local & state officials. SummerFest is being heavily promoted and excitement is building with many signs posted around town, ads in local publications, internet presence and commercials on the radio. Everywhere you go in Ossining, people are talking about SummerFest! 

Festival attendees can expect non-stop live entertainment and music on 2 stages featuring a chance to:

 Enjoy the talent of a showcase of local musicians & song writers: Tiffany Lopez, Juan Malpartida, and Dr. Sherry.

 Dance along with: Josie’s International School of Dance (Featuring Salsa, Flamenco, Zumba, Tango, Capoeira & More!)

Self Expression @ Ossining SummerFest Local teachers & community members will host a “Black-Top of Expression”, in a sectioned off part of the Market Square parking lot to allow children of all ages to express & share their creativity using chalk & washable paints. Local artists will also be represented at Ossining Arts Council & Arts Westchester booths. 

Shop Local Day in conjunction with Ossining SummerFest The Greater Ossining Chamber of Commerce & OJH Productions Co., have teamed up with fellow chamber members to host a day of promotions, specials, discounts & offers at area stores, restaurants, shops & more! Dine @ Ossining SummerFest Along with enjoying great pizza, funnel cake, empanadas, summer drinks, ice cream, BBQ and more at the festival grounds, make sure to visit our other participating area restaurants such as Doca’s, Main Street Deli, Ray’s Deli & The Boat House who will be featuring SummerFest specials all day & night! 

Children’s Attractions Professional inflatable company will be set up with a variety of rides, and carnival games.
