Schedule notes-No baseball games were played yesterday so No. 16 Croton-Harmon will now play at No. 1 Briarcliff at 4:30 p.m. today in a Section 1 Class B opening-round game weather permitting. For the ramifications of all the changes due to weather, see Vincent Mercogliano's as always well-detailed explanation- http://baseball.lohudblogs.com/2012/05/24/washed-out-again/ In softball, Ossining lost to New Rochelle 11-4 in its Class AA outbracket contest yesterday so its season is over. Congrats to the Pride on qualifying for the sectionals! We will have more on that game next week.
