The Knicks have had a rollercoaster season between and . Now New York finds themselves looking at a first-round match up with either the Miami Heat or the Chicago Bulls, two teams that seem destined for a date in the Eastern Conference Finals.

The Knicks regular season wraps up Thursday at Charlotte and then New York will head to either Miami or Chicago. Either opponent will be a heavy favorite against the Knicks, but if Carmelo Anthony continues his great play, New York will have a punchers chance against anyone.

The Knicks needs to catch Orlando at the sixth seed in order to get past the first round of the playoffs.

Unfortunately, Rasheed is right, probably going out in five or six games if Knicks face Bulls or Heat (though I hope I am wrong!) Blowing that big lead against Indiana a few weeks back really could come back to haunt the Knicks if they finish just one game behind Orlando.
