Ossining & Croton School Dist. Budget and Trustee Vote Tomorrow

The Ossining Union Free School District and the Croton-Harmon School District both have budgets and trustee seats that will be voted on tomorrow.

Croton and Ossining's 2012-2013 budgets are the first to be required to abide by New York's new property tax levy cap law. voters will decide on a $43 million budget. Meanwhile, voters will reach a verdict on their $106.5 million 2012-2013 budget.

In Ossining there are two Board of Education seats up for grabs and three candidates vying for them. They are incumbents Dana Levenberg and Kim Case, as well as Sharon Abreau.

In Croton two incumbent candidates are running unopposed. They are Giuseppina Miller and Andrea Furey. The terms for both Croton and Ossining board members are three years.

Croton-Harmon School District voters can cast their ballots tomorrow from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Croton-Harmon High School. Ossining voters can vote at their high school from 7 a.m. until 9 p.m.
