Ossining Falls to Poughkeepsie

Ossining entered the Section 1 semifinal against undefeated Poughkeepsie as heavy underdogs. Though the Pride ran out of gas, wobbling under the immense weight of Poughkeepsie's well-oiled offensive machine in a 41-6 loss on Wednesday, they hope to remember this as a redemption season.

One loss can't diminish the fact that Ossining restored credibility to the program by going 6-3 and making it so far.

Oceanic-deep Poughkeepsie, behind a surplus of backs and gaping holes that their line opened up for them, ran the ball at will. The Pioneers defeated Harrison by an identical 41-6 count in the Section 1 semifinal.

Ossining got on the scoreboard when Bucknell-bound quarterback Brian Donnelly connected with Sebastian Montenegro on an 11-yard touchdown pass.

Croton Beats Briarcliff

Croton-Harmon was on the other end of a whopping whipping, as the Tigers stamped Briarcliff with an end-to-end 49-7 thrashing.
