Clements, Olin, Prentiss, Russell Named Intel Semi-Finalists

Four students in Ossining's Science Research Program win prizes in the country's top science competition.

Four Ossining High School seniors are among 300 semi-finalists in the prestigious Intel Science Talent Search.

Amelia Lyn Clements, 17, Evan Daniel Olin, 17, Emily Katherine Prentiss, 18, and Frances Corene Russell, 17, each receive $1,000 prizes—and earned $4,000 for the high school.

In all 14 Westchester students got to the semi-finals out of 1,839 entrants. They're in the running for 40 finalist slots; 11 will win the top prizes. Finalists will be announced Jan. 25.
