has been serving the Ossining population since 1994. Twice a year, Ossining resident and founder and president of Dr. Rolande Hodel, visits Dr. Bruno at the Pharmacy on Main Street to pick up donated items. Over five years his Pharmacy has donated countless boxes of chewable children's vitamins, low dose aspirin, and condoms.
Dr. Hodel carries everything to Bamenda, Cameroon. The African photo was taken in a school in Alakuma, north of Bamenda. The school has 270 children, in both kindergarten and primary education. Dr. Hodel carries out AIDS education and rewards the children with "sweets" which are the vitamins from Dr. Bruno. She recommends to volunteers not to bring candy; sweet tasting chewable vitamins are a good alternative. Imagine Bamenda, a town of 300,000 people, has only one dentist. Thus eating candy is really not a good idea.
