Two Ossining DWI Defendants Appear in Briarcliff

All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. All ages represent the date of arrest.

Ivan Galindo of Ossining appeared in Briarcliff Manor Court to answer to a Driving While Intoxicated charge on January 9.

The 36-year-old was arrested on Sept. 29, 2012 after he allegedly drove a motorcycle drunk and got into an accident on Scarborough Road.

Galindo was reportedly injured and hospitalized as a result of the accident. 

Last Wednesday, Galindo's attorney noted an upcoming treatment appointment for the defendant and requested an adjournment date.

Village Justice Fred Weinstein noted no Treatment Alternatives for Safer Communties (TASC) report was available yet.

The case was adjourned to January 23.

Ossining Man Has Multiple Charges Pending

Norman Sanchez, of Ossining, appeared in handcuffs to answer to a August 11 Driving While Intoxicated Charge on January 9

In addition to the Briarcliff Manor charge, Sanchez's attorney noted he remained in custody following a December 30 arrest in Ossining, where he reportedly had four additional misdemeanors pending.

His attorney said Sanchez is due again in Ossining Court on January 29. The Briarcliff Manor matter was adjourned to February 13.
