Town of Ossining Councilman Peter Tripodi may run against State Senator David Carlucci, according to NYaltnews' Cliff Weathers. Patch that Tripodi was named as a possible challenger when the Ossining councilman spoke in front of the Rockland and Westchester GOP during their convention last month.
The fact that the 38th District has been redrawn to include Ossining creates a unique dynamic as Democratic State Senator Carlucci runs for re-election this November. Last year Tripodi lost the Town of Ossining Supervisor's race by about 200 votes.
