Historic Landmarks on Ossining Village Board Agenda

They're on State Street and Saint Paul's Place.

The Village of Ossining's Board of Trustees will hold public hearings Tuesday to allow residents to weigh in on four proposed local historic landmarks:

  • 4 & 7 St. Paul's Pl.
  • 23 State St.
  • 30 State St.
  • 34 State St.

At the 7:30 p.m. meeting to be held at the 86-88 Spring St. facility, the village board also plans to act on the proposal for Lynstaar Engineering of Pleasantville to relocate the Pleasantville Road Pump Station generator to the John Paul Rodrigues Ossining Operations Center. The agreement budgets $12,250 for the project.

The move is part of the village's proposed generator upgrades discussed at the village board's last session. A second $58,250 agreement with Lynstaar will involve "the design and installation of a generator and related facilities at the Indian Brook Reservoir Water Treatment Plant."

Also on Tuesday's agenda:

  • Bonding for $175,000 to purchase a front-end loader
  • Fire Department appointments
