Croton's Drug Take-Back Day

The Drug Enforcement Agency, Croton Community Coalition and the Croton-on-Hudson Police Department's Drug Take-Back Day will happen this weekend.

Croton will hold it's Drug Take-Back Day this Saturday. Residents will be able to get rid of their expired or unused prescription medications. You can go to the Croton Commons parking lot in between South Riverside Avenue and Maple Street from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday to take part in the take-back.

During the Drug Take-Back pills and liquids will be accepted (sealed in plastic bags), but no needles will be accepted.

Officials say these drug take backs reduce the number of accidental poisonings, overdoses and drug abuse. The Drug Take-Back is being conducted in conjunction with the DEA.
