Croton-on-Hudson Sen. Seeks Women Of Distinction Nominations

New York State Senator Ball is seeking nominations for the Women Of Distinction Hall of Fame.

Editor's Note: The following is a news release from Sen. Ball:

Senator Greg Ball (R) is accepting nominations for his Women of Distinction Hall of Fame, which will honor a woman from each town, village and city in the 40th Senate District.

“These women are heroes in their communities and all too often their hard work goes unrecognized,” Ball said. “It is a great privilege for me to be able to honor these women and share their important, inspiring stories.”

Towns, villages and cities district-wide are currently in the process of selecting their nominees and will eventually nominate one person from each town. If you would like to nominate someone, please contact your local supervisor or board. Nominations are due by Feb. 1, 2012.

Ball will hold a ceremony and reception at 6 p.m. on March 30 at the Putnam Emergency Services Center to welcome his first class of honorees, recognizing one woman of distinction from each town.
