Croton-ConEd Liaison Program

ConEd will be assigning several individuals to the village, who will become familiar with our electrical grid, municipal facilities, critical infrastructure and sensitive locations.

ConEd has selected the to be one of two municipalities in Westchester County where their Municipal Liaison program will be launched.  The program is being designed to work together with municipalities to restore power in cases of major outages.

ConEd will be assigning several individuals to the village, who will become familiar with our electrical grid, municipal facilities, critical infrastructure and sensitive locations.  They will work with the village’s administrative staff and first responders as necessary in order to work more efficiently.  During major outages, the liaison will be on site within the Village and, together with village staff, will determine areas that need  attention in order to be able to expedite power restoration.
