Croton-on-Hudson Police arrested a Yorktown man on DWI and numerous traffic violations just before 9 p.m. on August 26.

Croton police pulled over the driver on Route 9 North after allegedly observing him passing on the right, following too closely, and illegally signaling.

Police said they found him with an open container and charged with him DWI and operating with a blood alcohol count higher than .08 percent.

The man, age 23, was released to his girlfriend with a court date.

Note: An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
