The village of Ossining has hired two new police officers.
- Michael Mac Namara, 38, was previously a Capitol Police Officer in Washington, DC.
- Javier DeJesus, 33, had been a Corrections Officer for Westchester County.
Both are Ossining residents.
They started work Jan. 7, reporting to the Westchester County Police Academy for training that will last to the end of May, said Chief Joe Burton.
