UPDATE: Ossining Fire Department Called to 145 Main St.

The fire department was on scene investigating a call at 145 Main St. late yesterday afternoon. The Ossining Fire Department received a call from someone inside the building who said that they could smell smoke. When the fire department arrived they checked the building out, but they couldn't figure out where the smell was coming from.

"We had smelled something electrical. So the first thing we did was call our supervisor and the fire department, and they were here in like two minutes," said Colleen Richard who works in the building.

Firefighters went into the building's basement to check on the condition of the electrical panel. When they got there, they still could not find the source of the reported smoke smell. Fire investigators say that the smell may have come from a piece of electronics, such as a computer.
