A resident called Croton Police Headquarters at about 2:55 p.m. Jan 17 to report a man in a black Mercedes taking photos of a house on Maple Avenue.
The caller told police that when challenged the man said he was working for someone in the area.
On Jan. 18, police received a cell-phone call about a possible prowler who was filming houses with a hand-held camera on Cleveland Drive.
Police checked out the neighborhoods but found no one either time.
