Unlicensed Driver Plunged Down Cliff Near Ossining Train Station
Ossining police said two people were hospitalized after one drove a pickup truck off Hunter Street, landing upside down on Secor Road.
An Ossining woman driving a pickup truck on Hunter Street plunged 27 feet off the massive retaining wall that borders Secor Road as it climbs the cliff from the waterfront into downtown Ossining.
Ana Luna-Redoneo, of Croton Avenue, hit a parked car and lost control at 5:35 p.m. Jan. 27, police said.
The truck broke through a chain-link fence and crashed through a small section of scrub trees and weeds before plummeting over the retaining wall. It landed upside down on Secor Road.

Luna-Redoneo and a passenger were taken to Westchester Medical Center by the Ossining Volunteer Ambulance Corps. Their injuries were not believed to be life-threatening, police said.
The Ossining Fire Department also responded to the scene; the truck did not catch fire.

Secor Road was closed for a couple of hours Sunday evening while the accident victims were rescued and the scene was investigated and cleaned up.
She was issued a summons for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
