Two Ossining Pedestrians Remain Hospitalized; Two Dead in Tarrytown

Lt. William Sullivan reports that the status of both pedestrians hit recently in the village of Ossining remains the same:

The 65-year-old Ossining man struck by a car on State and William streets on the afternoon of Nov. 20, possibly with sun glare to blame, remains in critical condition, Sullivan said. 

The 47-year-old Ossining woman struck while crossing Route 9 at Everett Avenue around 5:45 p.m. on Nov. 25 is in serious condition. 

Both are still being treated at Westchester County Medical Center. 

Two unfortunate pedestrians in Tarrytown have not faired as well.

An 80-year-old Tarrytown woman was killed Tuesday night, Nov. 26, while crossing Route 119 in the rain.

A 63-year-old Bronx woman who was one of two women struck while standing on the sidewalk in Tarrytown on the morning of Wednesday, Nov. 20, died after four days in the hospital

None of these accidents were hit and runs and no one has been charged of any crimes in any of them.
