Town of Ossining Police Blotter

The following is the Town of Ossining Police Blotter.

OSSINING POLICE BLOTTER

Sunday, Oct. 30 6:59 p.m. – Westchester County Police closed White Birch Drive after a power line came down on the roadway.

Friday, Oct 28 4:52 p.m. – Westchester County Police responded to the Cedar Manor Nursing Home on Stormytown Road after a resident made several calls to police. An elderly man there said he was not feeling well and wanted to go to the hospital. Nursing home staff had already made arrangements for a private ambulance to transport the man and no additional police action was required.

Thursday, Oct. 27 12:49 a.m. – A resident of Quail Hollow Road reported that he heard a loud noise behind his home and that his power went out briefly.  The homeowner thought a transformer had blown but an officer checked the area and found nothing amiss. Con Edison notified.

Wednesday, Oct. 26 7:58 a.m. – Westchester County Police responded to a report of a domestic dispute on Stanley Avenue. Officers determined that the dispute between a father and daughter was only verbal in nature.

Monday, Oct. 24 – 10:10 a.m. – Westchester County Police responded to the U.S. Post Office at Maryknoll, 85 Ryder Road, on a report of a person having a heart attack. Ossining Volunteer Ambulance Corps subsequently transported a 63-year-old Rockland County resident to Phelps Memorial Hospital.
