Loose dog, bad emails, questionable car, baby check
Wednesday, April 3 – 3:16 p.m. – A resident reported that a white poodle was running loose on Hawkes Avenue near the Fox Run condos. An officer responded, however the resident who called reported that she had been able to capture the dog and return it to its owner.
5:52 p.m. – A resident of White Birch Drive reported to county police that she and her son have been receiving unwanted emails from a person they do not know. The resident said she has asked her Internet provider to block the emails but asked for a police report to document the incident.

6:20 p.m. – A resident of Minkel Road reported a suspicious vehicle to county police, noting that the driver was stopping in front of every house on the street. The vehicle was gone upon an officer’s arrival.
Thursday, April 4 – 8:46 p.m. – Westchester County Police received a report that a baby had been left in a car outside Flames Steakhouse on North State Road. An officer located the vehicle and determined there was no infant inside.

Saturday, April 6 – 3:06 a.m. – Westchester County Police responded to Samstag Avenue on a report that a car alarm was sounding. The vehicle owner was contacted to come out and silence the alarm. There was no sign that the vehicle had been broken into or damaged and it was unclear what triggered the alarm to sound.
