Teen Hit By Car in Ossining
Ossining Police responded to an accident on Highland Ave. this morning.
responded to a car accident involving a teen girl this morning. When officers arrived around 7:45 a.m. they found the 16-year-old girl down in the roadway. The teen was conscious when officers arrived. She told police that she was trying to cross S. Highland Ave. when she was hit by a car in the northbound lane.
Authorities say the girl had bruising on the right side of her face. She was taken by ambulance to Westchester Medical Center.
The woman driving the car said the girl ran across the road from the west side of the street. The driver has not been charged in connection with the incident.
