Snow Plow and Plowing Incidents: Ossining Town Police

Police responded to three incidents connected to the weekend snowstorm.

 

Feb. 10—9:26 a.m. – Westchester County Police received a complaint that snow was being plowed into the street on North State Road in the vicinity of Suburban Carting. An officer spoke with an employee at the company and the condition was corrected.

Friday, Feb. 8 – 2:44 p.m. – Westchester County Police responded to Croton Dam Road near Hawkes Avenue to investigate an accident between a car and a snow plow. The driver of the car, Emanuel Ibarra, 28, of Brandreth Street, Ossining, told officers he lost control of his 1999 Acura on slippery pavement and slid into the snow plow, which is owned by the village of Ossining.

7:54 p.m. – A resident of Croton Dam Road reported to county police that his mailbox and fence were damaged sometime after 6:30 p.m., possibly by being struck by a snow plow.
