Report: 2 Overdose on Heroin in Croton

The Journal News reports that two women in Croton-on-Hudson overdosed, in the same neighborhood where two heroin overdoses occurred last month.

Two women in Croton-on-Hudson overdosed on heroin early Sunday morning and survived, according to the The Journal News/LoHud.com.

The two include a 19-year-old Ossining woman and a 20-year-old Croton area woman, reporter Shawn Cohen said. The incident took place on Oriole Lane.

Croton-on-Hudson police would not comment about the incident.

That's in the same housing development, Scenic Ridge, where a similar incident took place last month, the paper reported In mid-March, George Landers, a 25-year-old Croton man, was found dead from a suspected overdose while his brother, 23-year-old Michael Landers, was hospitalized, according to police.

The Landers brothers were discovered in the development, which is located near the Cortlandt border.
