Prostitution-Related Arrest in Ossining

A man was arrested in the Town of Ossining on a prostitution-related charge.

A Port Chester man was arrested on charges of promoting Prostitution 4th Degree and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 2nd Degree, misdemeanors, following a traffic stop by Westchester County Police at Routes 9 and 9A.

Rolando Martinez, 26, of Leonard Street was stopped by Officer Michael Demaio after the officer observed Martinez’ vehicle traveling at 50 mph in a posted 30 mph zone. Martinez was unable to produce a driver’s license and a computer check revealed it had been suspended on eight previous occasions.

His passenger told officers that she was a prostitute and that Martinez was driving her to several appointments she had in the Tarrytown-Ossining-Peekskill area that evening.
