Police Investigate Theft at Club Fit

A theft at an area fitness club is among the incidents that the Westchester County Police Department are investigating in the Ossining area.

Tuesday, Dec. 27 – 7:20 p.m. – A patron at on North State Road reported that someone took a gym bag containing $30, a cell phone and some clothing after he left it unattended at the facility.

Sunday, Jan.1 – 1:30 p.m. -- A resident of Haymont Terrace reported to Westchester County Police that unauthorized purchases were made on her American Express card.  Detectives from the General Investigations Unit are investigating.

Monday, Dec. 26 – 10:41 a.m. – Westchester County Police responded to a report of an injured coyote on Nord Circle but the animal was gone when an officer arrived.

12:18 p.m. – A resident of Incognito Lane reported to Westchester County Police that a vehicle with two men inside was parked outside a home on his street.  The resident, who said he is familiar with his neighbors and their vehicles, told an officer that the vehicle drove off before he could see its license plate. The home and property was checked by an officer but nothing was amiss.
