Police: Croton Man Arrested for Selling Crack

Police charged the man, who was already in custody at Westchester County Jail.

While in custody at the Westchester County Jail, 28-year-old Croton resident Phillip Manwaring was charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance, a Class B felony, by Peekskill Police on June 27. The charge came following a 10 month investigation into the sale of crack cocaine, conducted jointly with the New York State Police.

Manwaring allegedly sold crack to an undercover police officer during the investigation. He was returned to the Westchester County Jail where he is being held without bail.

The preceding information was provided by the Peekskill Police Department.
