Ossining’s Finest Make DWI Arrest
PD: Officers arrested a drunk driver who crashed into a home's porch.
Ossining officers Michael Lantz and Chris Oliveira say they were on patrol in the early morning hours on June 5 when they saw a car run a red light. The car turned right onto Spring St. from Broad without stopping and without using a turn signal. Then the driver abruptly turned into a driveway and hit a home’s front porch.
The officers said when they got out of their patrol car to talk to 21-year-old Robert Nichols they noticed that he looked like he was drunk. Officer’s Lantz and Oliveira questioned Nichols and then determined that he was driving drunk. The 21-year-old Ossining resident now faces DWI charges.
