say that an Ossining woman was taken for more than $13,000. The Wolden Road resident says she got a call from a man who said he was her husband's cousin last Tuesday. The caller said he was detained abroad and put a person on the phone who was supposedly his lawyer. The person posing as a lawyer said that the Ossining woman should wire money to a bank account. Over the period of three days, police say that the Wolden Road resident wired more than $13,000 in cash to the account.
