Ossining's Finest Make 5 Drug Arrests

Five people were arrested in connection with a special police operation, which was designed to reduce drug offenses in the village.

Five people have been arrested on drug charges in the Village of Ossining. Authorities say all five arrests took place on Broad Ave. in the afternoon. All of the individuals are accused of taking part in drug deals. The arrests were part of a special operation undertaken by the Village of Ossining Police Department.

Officials say the following people were arrested in connection with the special May 17 operation, which was designed to reduce drug offenses in the village:

  • Eleazer Holbrook, 40, of Hunter St., was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th, Criminal Possession of Marijuana in the 5th Degree and Resisting Arrest.
  • Angelo Harris, 31, of Peekskill, was charged with Criminal Possession of Marijuana in the 5th Degree and Resisting Arrest.
  • Roosvelt Keemer, 48, of South Highland Ave., was charged with Tampering with Evidence and Criminal Possession of Marijuana in the 5th Degree.
  • Turan Burnett, age 33, of Wolden Rd., was charged with Criminal Possession of Marijuana in the 5th Degree.
  • Miguel Portorreal, 29, of Todd Pl. was charged with Criminal Possession of Marijuana in the 5th Degree.
