Ossining Police: Pot and Pot Pipe, Crack and Crack Pipe Arrests

Warrant Arrests
Ossining police arrested two recently on two separate bench warrants for previous charges.
A Sleepy Hollow man, 33, was charged on Sept. 17 with failure to appear on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.
An Ossining woman, 27, was also booked on previous offenses and released on $250 bail.

Speeding, Pot and Pot Pipe
A Cortlandt Manor 18-year-old was stopped by police for going 75 in a 45 mph zone on Route 9A on Sept. 17 at 10:20 a.m.

Police found marijuana and a pipe for smoking it in the car so in addition to the speeding ticket they charged the teen with unlawful possession of marijuana.
Crack and Crack Pipe
Ossining police found a woman, 31, on Hunter Street with alleged crack and a crack pipe in her possession. They charged the woman, who lives on that street, with possession of a controlled substance.
DWI
An Ossining woman, 31, was charged with driving while intoxicated on Main Street at 12:40 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 15.
Police saw her driving erratically and pulled her over. Police believed her to be intoxicated but she refused a chemical test, Lt. William Sullivan said.
She was taken to Phelps Memorial Hospital after complaining of dizziness and issued a ticket to appear in court.

From the Town of Ossining and County Police:Wrong Bus
An 8-year-old girl was reported missing to Westchester County
Police on Monday, Sept. 9 at 3:25 p.m. after she failed to return home from school. Officers determined that the girl had gotten on the wrong bus and that she was being returned to the school.
Loud Music
On Tuesday, Sept. 10 at 12:41 p.m. County Police responded to a residence on
McCarthy Drive after receiving a noise complaint about loud music. The resident said she didn’t realize how the loud the music was and agreed to turn it down.
Dog Won't Come Home
County police assisted an elderly woman on Albany Post Road on Friday, Sept. 13 at 10:25 a.m. when her dog had run off her property and wouldn’t return. The officer was able to capture the dog and return it to the owner.
