Ossining Police Investigating String of Burglaries

The Village of Ossining Police Department is asking for your help as they investigate six break-ins.

The is investigating a series of burglaries done during the daytime hours.  Six of the break-ins have occurred in the vicinity of North Malcolm Street and Denny Street in the village, over the past two weeks. Several of them involved residents that left the house in the morning and returned in the afternoon to discover their homes had been entered. Many of the entries were made through windows, in some cases pushing in air conditioners to gain entry. The property taken in many cases included computer equipment, jewelry and assorted items.

Residents are advised to take care in securing windows and doors properly and to report any suspicious persons or activities.
