Ossining Nursing Home Evacuation
At least eight sisters are being evacuated from St. Teresa's.
At least eight sisters are being evacuated from Saint Teresa's right now. Saint Teresa's is a nursing home at Maryknoll in Ossining for the order's fathers and brothers. Officials say that the evacuation was caused by a generator failure.
Town of Ossining Supervisor Sue Donnelly cited generator problems.
The nursing home is located at 105 Ryder Road in Ossining. Those being evacuated may be on their way to Phelps Memorial Hospital Center right now.
