Ossining Man Struck by Car Remains in Critical Condition

A 65-year-old Ossining man crossing the street at the intersection of State and William streets is in critical condition after being struck by a car on Wednesday afternoon. 

The driver was 74-year-old Ossining resident who has not been charged.

The victim, Louis Nardone, of Hunter Street, Ossining was "seriously injured," said Lt. William Sullivan, and was taken to Westchester County Medical Center where he remains in critical condition.

Police said Nardone the case is still under investigation. Sullivan said "sun glare may have played a part in this."
